Come celebrate and support community-based living and the cultural traditions of our region at the second annual Southern Maryland Folklife Summer Workshops, June 3-5, 2022.
Register today for our 2022 workshops
During this three-day event, we will offer in-person workshops in everything from making a stuffed ham and building your genealogy to painting the Southern Maryland landscape and making wampum pendants. The workshops will culminate in a public exhibition and celebration event at SMCM’s Boyden Gallery. Come celebrate and support community-based living and the cultural traditions of Southern Maryland.
As of June 1, 2021, masks are no longer required in any outdoor spaces on campus, but the mask requirement continues for all indoor spaces. The College reserves the right to require wearing of a mask in certain settings. Social distancing is a personal choice.
